MADRE TIERRA
un curso para animadores

Esta serie de nueve cortometrajes en Animación es el producto de una experiencia única de colaboración Norte-Sur y dió una oportunidad de capacitación a un grupo de jóvenes animadores latinoamericanos.

Bajo la dirección de dos instructoras danesas y un uruguayo (María Mac Dalland, Malenen Vilstrup y Walter Tournier) un grupo de nueve uruguayos e invitados de Bolivia, Ecuador, Brasil, y Perú pasaron por un agitado mes en mayo de 1990 estudiando una multiplicidad de técnicas de animación.

Posteriormente cada uno de los uruguayos encaró el guión y la realización de un cortometraje animado.

MADRE TIERRA es el resultado de esa experiencia.

MOTHER EARTH
a course for animators

This 9-parts series of animated films is the product of a unique experience in North-South collaboration which gave a training opportunity to a group of young Latin American animators.

Under the direction of two Danish and one Uruguayan instructor (María Mac Dalland, Malenen Vilstrup and Walter Tournier) an initial group of 9 Uruguayans and trainees from Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru spent a hectic month in May 1990, studying a multiplicity of animation techniques.

Later the Uruguayans each continued with the writing and direction of his or her own animation film.

MOTHER EARTH is the result of this experience.

PEQUEÑO DESCUIDO

En un bosque imaginario un pequeño descuido puede causar estragos. Pero la participación activa de un niño permite poner las cosas en su lugar.
